Even natural herbal hair colours may cause hypersensitivity or an allergic reaction in some people. Because allergies can develop suddenly, we recommend doing an allergy test before using Radico hair colour. Especially if there is more than 12 months from your last colouring it is safe to do test.
- Wash a small area on the inside of the arm and dry carefully.
- Use a NON-METALLIC* bowl and spoon or spatula. Mix one (1) teaspoon of Radico colour powder with a few drops of hot water. Mix well. Add water a couple of drops at a time and continue mixing until the mixture is even.
- Let the mixture cool. Using a cotton swab or cotton pad, apply a small amount of the mixture to a clean area of about one square centimetre on the inside of the arm and let the mixture dry on the skin.
- Cover the test area, for example with a plaster or plastic film, and leave it undisturbed for 90 minutes, remove the cover and rinse the mixture off carefully. Check the test area carefully.
Check the test area again the next day to make sure that no signs of irritation appear in the area.
