How to use Radico Golden Blonde natural hair dye
Easy to use at home
Mix the powder with warm water into a smooth paste, apply to the hair, and leave to work according to the instructions. The result is a natural, soft, and radiant golden blonde tone.
Note for bleached hair
This shade is not suitable for bleached hair. Radico Golden Blonde contains indigo, which may give an uneven or slightly greenish result on very light or bleached hair.

Steps to use Radico Colour Me Organic Natural Hair Colour at home sucessfully
Step 1. Preparation of Radico hair colour mix
WASH & DRY: 10 ~ 20 MINUTES
Before applying the plant paste, make sure to wash your hair thoroughly. If there are any coating ingredients like oil or conditioner on the surface, the plant pigments won’t be able to penetrate your hair, leading to ineffective dyeing. After washing, it’s best to have your hair slightly damp rather than too wet before applying the paste.
We recommend your to wash your hair with organic or natural shampoo before colouring. Why?
Using a natural or organic shampoo before Radico hair color is important because it gently cleanses your hair without harsh chemicals. This ensures your hair and scalp are balanced and ready, helping the plant-based color absorb better and last longer. It also avoids any residue that could block the natural dye from working effectively.
Are you using Radico Colour Me Organic Hair Colour for the first time? Here is the tip for you:
When using Radico hair color for the first time, a deep-cleansing shampoo is recommended because it thoroughly removes any residue, oils, or product buildup from your hair. This creates a completely clean surface, allowing the natural color pigments to bond evenly and give the best results. A normal shampoo might leave behind buildup that could block the color absorption. For example this deep cleansing shampoo.
If your hair is healthy with perfect cuticles, not porous, and you avoid using conditioners, the color can still develop well even when applied to completely dry hair.
❗️CAUTION Excess Moisture Can Dilute Plant Pigments
If conditioners and hair products remain in the hair, it will not dye properly.
If there are oils from conditioners and hair treatment, they will repel the water-based plant pigment solution, which results in a weak color.

If your hair is too wet, the excess moisture both in and on the surface can dilute the plant pigments, causing the color to fade.
Step 2. Mixing Radico hair color for home use
Time: 5 ~ 10 minutes
Depending on the length of hair, portion Colour Me Organic in the following amount:
・20 to 30g – For short hair
・40 to 60g – For shoulder-length hair
・70 to 100g – For waist length hair
Take the recommended amount of powder as per hair length mentioned above.
Add warm water to Colour Me Organic Natural Hair Colour in roughly 1 part powder to 3 parts water. Adjust the quantity of water to achieve a yogurt of ketchup like consistency. Paste should not be too thick or too thin.
CAUTION
The paste must be mixed thoroughly with water to dye the hair
If the powder is not mixed well enough, the plant pigments clump up and cannot pass through the cuticle, resulting in a soft color.
Step 3 Application of Radico natural hair colour to your hair
Starting at the roots apply paste to hair generously immediately after mixing. Knead the paste well into your hair.
Grey hair may require a heavier application of paste.
Use the enclosed shower cap to cover hair after paste is evenly distributed. Optionally, cover with plastic wrap.
Step 4. Penetration of Radico natural hair colour
Time: 1 hour
Wrap hair with plastic wrap or put on a shower cap. Wait at least 60 minutes after application of paste. Optionally, put on a fabric cap over the plastic to trap body heat. The key is to keep the paste moist and warm.
If a darker color is desired leave the paste on for a longer period of time. It is safe for paste to remain on hair for two to three hours. Heat can also be applied with a hair dryer during this time to intensify results.
Step 5. Rinse
Wash: 10 ~ 20 minutes
Thoroughly rinse hair with warm water until water runs clear. Do not use shampoo for this initial rinse.
Colour Me Organic takes up to 24 hours for the color to completely set. You may experience the color deepening on the first day.
CAUTION
Alkaline shampoo removes henna pigment from hair. Use natural Cosmetic shampoo for Hair
The pigment component of henna is Lawson. Alkaline shampoo foam removes Lawson from human hair. Soap sits at the higher end of the pH scale, around the 9 - 10 mark. Soap-based shampoo bars are out of balance with the natural pH of your hair. Soap’s alkalinity combined with the alkaline water can leave your tresses tangled and waxier than ever.
