Using Amla for Hair
1. Amla as a Hair Mask for Hair and Scalp Care

Amla, or Indian gooseberry, is a valued plant in Ayurvedic hair care that helps strengthen the hair, support scalp balance, and add natural shine to the hair. Amla contains a large amount of antioxidants and vitamin C and is especially suitable for tired, dull, or delicate hair.
Amla may help make the hair stronger, smoother, and easier to comb.
What you need for using amla:

2–4 tbsp amla powder

A good rule of thumb is 1 part powder and 3 parts water

a non-metal bowl (for example a glass or ceramic bowl) and a non-metal spoon
Instructions:

Mix the amla powder with warm or hot water into a smooth paste.

The paste should remain thick, with a consistency similar to yogurt or Greek yogurt.

Let the mixture stand for about 10–15 minutes.

Apply the paste to clean hair and scalp. Cover the hair with plastic and a warm towel.

What you need:

What you need:

Instructions:

Prepare a yogurt-like paste from the amla powder. Mix in warm water using a ratio of 1 part powder and 3 parts water.
