How to use Methi (Fenugreek) for hair and skin
How to use Fenugreek for hair:
Mix the powder with water in a ratio of 1:3 to make a paste like yogurt.
Important: Fenugreek powder absorbs moisture. Therefore, we recommend preparing the hair mask 12-24 hours before use. If you apply the Fenugreek hair mask to your hair immediately, there is a risk that it will absorb moisture directly from your hair and result in even drier hair. If you let the mask sit, there is no risk.
Check the mixture. The mixture will likely be thick, so add hot water and check with your finger that the mixture is not too hot. Apply to hair and wrap in plastic wrap and a towel. Leave it on for 1 hour. Rinse hair until the water runs clear.
Tip: Apply the fenugreek paste directly to your scalp or mix with Greek yogurt for the added benefits of lactic acid, an alpha-hydroxy exfoliant. Use 1-2 times a week.
IMPORTANT: If your hair is previously bleached, always test a small section of hair before using the mask. The mask may slightly tint bleached hair.
Using Fenugreek on the Face:
This face mask nourishes and moisturizes the skin, removing dryness. Use a few tablespoons of the powder with 2 tablespoons of yogurt and 1 tablespoon of honey. Apply the mixture to your face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with water.
